Summer Rhapsody is a solo exhibition by Canadian artist Elena Azarova dedicated to the beauty of summer, freedom of color and the power of emotional perception. The exhibition presents abstract works created in a recognizable author's manner with expressive, dynamic brushstrokes that give rise to each viewer's own associations and images. The artist consciously does not limit the perception of her works, allowing everyone to find personal meaning in them.
The bright color palette, multi-layered texture and energy of the picturesque gesture make the paintings not only independent works of art, but also spectacular elements of a modern interior. Elena Azarova's works harmoniously complement residential and public spaces, filling them with light, dynamics and expressive color accents.
Elena Azarova is an abstract artist and graphic designer. She received her art education in the studio workshop of Panko Velichko, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and then graduated with honors from Conestoga College (Canada) with a degree in Graphic Design. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Eurasian Union of Designers.
Since 2016, Elena has been actively involved in exhibition activities. Her solo exhibitions have been held in Canada, Kazakhstan and the USA, and her works have been exhibited in New York, Pavlodar, Almaty and Astana. In 2023, the artist's works were presented at the jubilee exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan at the Abylkhan Kasteev State Museum of Art.
Elena Azarova's work is distinguished by her expressive brushwork technique, emotionality, and vibrant color palette. Her works are in the collections of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in private collections in Kazakhstan, Russia, Qatar, Germany, Turkey, Slovenia, the USA, Canada and Mexico.
